German Ostee update 2

I finally finished putting in the last bead last night on my Chatelaine piece....It took forever. This is part 1 - 3, bring on June 1st for part 4. There is no way I could leave beading to the very end!! I just wish everyone could see this IRL, the Swarovski's just sparkle....I am truly loving this one. I have also been stitching on an exchange, but can't show that one - it's a secret.

On another note, an update with my job. Things are a little better this term (I work at a school and get holidays off)....They haven't gone back the way they were, but I am coping alot better now.

This really loks gorgeous. In fact I am getting the parts too, but didn't even start. I just finished my first Chatelaine, and started Holland springtime last month. Seeing this I want to start, thanks for inspiring me!

Love how you've stitched this one, Georgie. It's just beautiful. I want it, but have to wait for a while. I'm still working on St. Pete's, believe it or not! :] Good to see how lovely this one is. Thanks for showing us. Hugs, Deb

How gorgeous! I've always saved beading until last because I can't figure out how to hoop the fabric to keep it taut without the beads getting in the way. What are you using instead of hoops?
