Flea Market Souvenir Finish

This is my latest finish......Flea Market Souvenir by Blackbird Designs....I didn't really enjoy stitching the three fabrics together, as the linen squares don't match up with each other and there were lots of frogging going on! Anyway, I enjoyed stitching the fabric on and making it into a wall hanging

I just had to share what my daughter made for a school project! I think it is so cute and clever. She had to use certain things to make an alien and I just love the scourer for his tummy! His eyes are just buttons she found in my button jar, they happen to look like googly eyes....

That's the cutest alien I've ever seen!

Congratulations on your Flea Market Souvenir finish - I'm sorry that doing the actual finishing was a pain in the you-know-what.

Love the flea market piece. Knowing that pieces won't match up correctly for me is one of the reasons I am doing the mystery design on one piece of linen :-).

Your DD's alien is so cool!

Even though you were not happy to stitch this three fabrics design, it's so stunning to me!!
And the hunging idea is perfect!
