CA Wells Update

I thought it was time to show an update of my CA Wells Pyramid Etui and this time I also have a photo of the Peacock Needlecase aswell. I'm not that keen on the colours of the peacock, they are too bright for me. If it wasn't for the class in three weeks, I wouldn't be doing it. I love stitching it, the colours are just too bright. Perhaps I should have changed them, Oh well. On the other hand, I love the colours of the Pyramid. Very soft....

Isn't it funny - I'm the opposite ... I much prefer the bright colours of the peacock to the etui (but I've always been that way). I do have to admit, though, the peacock colours do seem quite 'out there' in some places, and even had me looking at it and going 'hmmmm...' haha. Sorry I didn't end up getting to Ballarat for a visit with Mum - looking forward to meeting you at the class :)

I love the colors in both pieces - I have done the peacock needlecase myself, and the colors are gorgeous - I hope you'll be happier when you have the piece all finished!
